FLAGSTAFF FRUIT TREE PROJECT
Flagstaff Fruit Tree Project
The Flagstaff Fruit Tree Project is an effort by Flagstaff Foodlink to prevent falling fruit from going to waste. We connect neighbors with fruit trees with volunteer pickers to harvest fruit that would otherwise go to waste, sharing the bounty between food pantries and participating volunteers.
Fruit Tree Sharing
Do you have more fruit than you can pick? If you are willing to share your fruit with volunteer pickers, fill out the form (right) and we will contact you with next steps!
Interested in being a volunteer picker? Email us at flagstafffoodlink@gmail.com.
Upcoming Event
Join Us for Apple Gleaning –
Feed Families, Not Landfills
We invite you to participate in our upcoming Apple Gleaning Events to help reduce food waste and enhance access to fresh local produce for those in need. In partnership with Flagstaff Family Food Center, volunteers will assist in harvesting apples that would otherwise go uncollected, which will be donated to the food bank.
Scheduling is in process! We look forward to sharing event dates soon—be sure to check our social media for the latest updates.
